Are you a passionate storyteller with a keen eye for performance marketing? We are seeking a dynamic leader to define and execute the creative strategies for compelling audio series, directly impacting user acquisition and retention on a global scale. In this pivotal role, you will lead a talented team, guiding them in the art of audio storytelling and empowering them to craft powerful promotional content that resonates with millions. Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Execution:
* Define and own the overarching creative strategy for new and existing audio series.
* Develop impactful and engaging short and long-form promotional content.
* Periodically review, edit, and rewrite promotional materials to ensure optimal performance.
* Source innovative ideas and inspirations from external validations to enhance promotional writing.
* Ensure all script writing and rewriting is informed by data-based feedback, focusing on user acquisition and retention metrics.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional business and technical teams on initiatives such as A/B testing and data modeling, providing expert subject matter input.
* Provide critical input on promotional production aspects, including music, voice-over, and video elements.
* Collaborate with production, marketing, and operations teams to foster a cohesive and integrated approach to promotional success.
Leadership, Team Building & Development:
* Manage a large creative and production team, including writers, leads, sound engineers, and video editors.
* Recruit and evaluate team members based on strategic requirements.
* Design training modules and programs to ensure the long-term success and growth of the team.
* Develop and iterate playbooks for optimizing performance marketing based on successes and learnings.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
* 5+ years of extensive writing experience, including screenwriting and/or copywriting (e.g., content conceptualization for digital platforms, investigative journalism, online entertainment, gaming narratives).
* Proven experience as a creative lead or director, owning creative strategy and execution in a highly iterative environment (such as gaming).
* Strong digital/performance marketing expertise, with a track record of working on customer acquisition and retention metrics and developing/executing 360-degree performance marketing campaign strategies.
* Deep understanding of media trends, audience behavior, and market dynamics.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring and collaborating effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Native proficiency in German and conversational fluency in English.
